Certification Introduction:

According to the relevant regulations promulgated by the Egyptian National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (NTRA), all communication equipment entering the Egyptian market includes terminal equipment, radio communication equipment, such as: mobile phones, tablet computers, cordless phones, POS machines, gateways, speakers, headsets, Cameras, data processors, etc. all need to obtain NTRA type certification VoC (Verification of Conformity) and PVoC (Pre-shipment Verification of Conformity).

VoC and PVoC Certification Forms:

Verification of Conformity Certificate of Conformity (VoC):

★ RED (Wired Product EMCD+LVD) test report and certificate issued by ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory with corresponding scope of authorization.

★ Pre-shipment Verification of Conformity Pre-shipment Inspection (PVoC): After completing the VoC certificate, the authorized laboratory will conduct inspection and issue the PVoC certificate.

Certification authorization:

On April 25, 2017, Beko Labs BACL and Egypt's National Telecom Regulatory Authorit (NTRA) signed the MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) again. For all product categories, Beko can conduct product testing and issue VoC&PVoC according to NTRA accreditation rules, so as to help manufacturers' products enter the Egyptian market smoothly!

In January 2022, BACL once again successfully signed a cooperation MOU with the Egyptian National Telecommunications Authority NTRA, becoming one of the four Group A laboratories recognized by Egypt. At the same time, the BACL Shenzhen, Dongguan and Kunshan sites were also recognized by NTRA. As a certification agency authorized by Egypt's NTRA, BACL will continue to provide comprehensive, efficient and reliable one-stop NTRA VoC & PVoC testing and certification services for the majority of manufacturers exporting to Egypt with sufficient testing sites and larger testing capacity. Since December 1, 2017, NTRA has added the main parameters of new products: RF specifications, CPU model and speed, memory (ROM), RAM capacity, product operating system and its version.

Since January 1, 2018, NTRA has added new PCB verification requirements: PCB layout, PCB components (CPU, antenna, crystal oscillator, IC, etc.).
