This draft standard revision adopts the European Standard EN 14988‑1: 2006 + A1: August 2012, with a few national changes that appear in the standard's Hebrew section as follows:
※ Changes the Normative references (paragraph 2)
※ Changes the packaging requirements to comply also with the packaging requirements appears in Israel Mandatory Standard SI562 part 1 (paragraph 7)
※ Changes the product information (paragraph 8)
The consultation period for the circular ends on 60 days following its issuing and proposed date of adoption is 6 months from publication in Israel's Offical Gazette. Both the old standard and the new revised standard will apply for a period of 1 year from date of entry into force. During this time children's high chairs could be tested according to the old or the new revised standards.
