Two Proposals about Substances of Very High Concern

France intends to propose 4,4’-isopropylidenediphenol (bisphenol A; BPA) (EC 201-245-8; CAS80-05-7) as a substance of very high concern (SVHC) by 8 August 2016, which have carcinogenic, mutagenic or toxic for reproduction (CMR) effects. At the same date, the Netherlands also intends to propose benzene-1,2,4-tricarboxylic acid 1,2-anhydride (trimelliticanhydride; TMA) (EC 209-008-0; CAS 552-30-7) as an SVHC. Which probablely have serious effects to human health.
