January 15, 2016, the Official Journal of the European Union (OJ) Post 2016 / C 014/04, published the latest harmonised standards list for the REACH Regulation 27 relates to the release of nickel, formally EN 1811: 2011 + A1: 2015 as the harmonized standards replace EN 1811: 2011.

The latest release of nickel harmonized standard as follows:

The new standard EN 16128:2011 takes over from the superseded standard the same test methods for demonstrating conformity with the conditions of the restriction under entry 27 in Annex XVII of REACH until a new standard for spectacle frames and sunglasses will be developed.
