SASO has updated the list of products for which importers must submit declaration certificate approved by the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources when applying for shipment certificate. Starting from Apr 17th, 2025, products included in the new added list must obtain declaration certificate from the Saudi Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources before applying for shipment certificate, otherwise SCoC application will not be approved. SASO will conduct random inspections of issued shipment Certificates of Conformity and will deal with any violations seriously.
