ANE Colombia publico oficialmente la reolucion No 153 , through which the technical and operational conditions for short-range radio communications are regulated, among which are vehicle cabin radars that operate in the free band of 57 – 64 GHz.

The objective is to specifically regulate those radars that operate in the 57 – 64 GHz band. since  some  vehicle  manufacturers  are  incorporating  sensors,  intended  to  improve  the safety of the occupants and the vehicle in general.

The technical specifications for the 57-64 GHz frequency range establish a maximum EIRP of 100 mW and a maximum power spectral density of 13 dBm/MHz.

The National Spectrum Agency in Colombia mentions that resolution 153 comes into force since March 26, 2024.
