The Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) in Singapore has opened a consultation on January 19, 2024 in response to the announcement ending the acceptance of 3G-only mobile terminals and non-VoLTE capable mobile devices.

The consultation proposes that dealers who import mobile phones for sale in Singapore must ensure compliance with VoLTE requirements and specifications in 3GPP TS34.229-1.

The consultation will be open for comments until January 31, 2024.
