On September 10, 2019, Enterprise Singapore issued the 2019-08 notice. The notice requires that mains and portable socket-outlets incorporating the functions included in the following table must be tested and certified for registration under the CPS scheme according to SS 145 Part 2:2018.

2. Compared with SS 145 Part 2:2018 and SS 145 Part2:1997, there are two major changes:
• For sockets with USB and other electronic components, the new version adds the requirements of Appendix I (Annex 1). For the USB part, in addition to the IEC 60950-1 test, it also needs to do the BS EN 62680-1- 1 test in Performance. There are also new requirements for the test of the surge part.
• The new version of table 2 only retains the 13A rating, and the corresponding wire diameter is 1.25 or 1.5mm;
