On 16 June 2020, ECHA’s Member State Committee (MSC) did not agree to identify resorcinol as a substance of very high concern (SVHC) due to its endocrine-disrupting properties and agreed to identify other 4 substances as SVHCs. The committee ECHA will update the Candidate List of SVHCs later in June. Up to now, the SVHC list is updated to 209 items.

According to REACH regulation, producers and importers have to communication in supply chain when SVHC in article ＞0.1%; producers and importers have to notify to ECHA when SVHC in article＞0.1% & SVHC in article ＞ 1t/yr/producer or importer.
