PFHxA:

PFHxA, its salts and related substances are used in a variety of sectors in large quantities, such as fire-fighting foams, textiles, food contact materials, cosmetics, semiconductors, intermediate uses, etc, due to their unique properties (including providing oil, dirt and water repellency and film forming). But PFHxA, its salts and related substances are very persistent in the environment and have the potential to bioaccumulate in humans and other mammals, may cause long-term adverse effects in human health and environment.
