VN/ViệtnamThe Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Communications and Information Technology Committee (CITC) reminds that all telecommunications and radio terminals mustcomply with CITC requirements and technical standards before entering the Saudimarket.
Telecommunications and terminal equipment:
All mobile phones, tablets, smart watches and mobile computers must:
• With CITC electronic label
• Support 4G technology
Mobile phones must meet the technical requirements to enablemobile broadcast service (CBS) alerts:
• The devices must be able to receive all alerts
• The device should limit the ability to forward, copy, or replyto alert messages
• The device supports adding phone Numbers or URL links to alertmessages
• The device can display or delete previous alert messages on theuser's request
• The device can receive alarm messages synchronously
• The device must give priority to cell broadcast alarm messages
• The alert message displayed by the device should be bilingual(Arabic and English)
• The channel distribution adopted by the equipment shall conformto the commercial mobile alert system (CMAS)
Tracking equipment and machine-to-machine communication(M2M) equipment：
It must:
• Support 4G technology (Effectivefrom January 1, 2020)
• Comply with CITC technical standard RI056-UMTS (3G) and LTE (4G)mobile phones and related equipment standard.
