The DLC Horticultural Lighting and plant lighting standard V1.2 was officially released and valid on October 21, 2019.

The main points of th update standard are as follows:

Starting from 2019-10-21, DLC requires maintenance data based on PPF data for horticultural lighting and plant lighting, and no longer accepts data reports of luminous flux or radiant power of LM-80 or LM-84. Applicants must use LM80 report of PPF data. For products previously listed, DLC requires PPF-based upgrade data by April 2020, otherwise the listing will be removed!

DLC originally requires PPID and SQD information in TM-33 format, but the current software tools are not so widely used to meet DLC’s need of its implementation as scheduled, so DLC delayed this requirement. From October 2019, DLC requires to submit in non-standardized image format.
