Vietnam energy labeling and minimum energy efficiency performance certification is requested by the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT). In request of MOIT, the Prime Minister Vietnam published  Decision 04/2017/QD-TTg , the following groups of equipment like LED lightings, Laptop computers, requires MOIT Energy Efficiency Declaration of Conformity (DoC) and must comply with minimum energy efficiency performance levels to be imported and sold in Vietnam market. In addition, Vietnam encourage the manufactures to apply Voluntary energy labeling for products that are not in the Compulsory energy labeling and minimum energy efficiency list.

Applicable regulations：

1. Applicable regulations for LED lightings: At beginning stage, only E27 and B22 self-ballasted LED bulbs and double-head LED tube shall be enforced for MEPS and EE DoC. Road map for MEPS implementation for other products (LED luminaires, LED modules...) shall be released by MOIT in future.
