Recalls of Textile and Clothing in August 2019

In August 2019, there were 20 recalls on textile and clothing products in European Union, USA, Canada and Australia market. Among them, 5 cases came from China.


These recalls involve 8 cases of product with drawstrings may become trapped during various activities of a child, causing injuries; 1 case because of small part on the products can easily be detached, posing a choking hazard to children; 3 cases do not meet the flammability requirements for sleepwear, 7 cases due to their fire hazard labels do not comply with the standard and 1 case contains excessive chemical substances, posing a health hazard to users.
