Recently, the German Committee for Product Safety (AfPS) has determined the new requirements for PAHs evaluation and testing for the GS Mark Certification (AfPS GS 2019:01 PAK). The new PAHs requirements are mandatory for GS-Certification from 1st July 2020 and the document AfPS GS 2014:01 PAK will be invalid from 30th June 2020. Comparing with existing AfPS GS 2014:01 PAK, major changes are parameters and categories. Please refer to the below summary.
1. Deleted three substances: (Acenaphthene, CAS No.83-32-9; Acenaphthylene, CAS No.208-96-8; Fluorene, CAS No.86-73-7), the parameters updated from 18 to 15.
