Recalls of textile and clothing in July 2019

In July 2019, there were 35 recalls on textile and clothing products in European Union, USA, Canada and Australia market. Among them, 8 cases came from China.


These recalls involve 18 case of product with drawstrings may become trapped during various activities of a child, causing injuries; 3 cases because of small part on the products can easily be detached, posing a choking hazard to children; 3 cases do not meet the flammability requirements for children's sleepwear; 9 cases due to their fire hazard labels do not comply with the standard and 2 case contains excessive chemical substances, posing a health hazard to users.
