The Ministy of Industry regulation number 15 of 2018 about "Enforcement Of Mandatory Indonesian National Standards For Audio Video And Similar Electronic Apparatus" will be valid on June 26th 2019, 12 months after its issuance. It stated that AV product will be mandatory to have SNI certification. AV products that are covered by this ministry regulation are: Television sets with screen sizes up to 42 inches, DVD disc player and Blu-ray disc player, Car head units, Active speaker, Set top boxes for television sets, etc.
