ECHA Consults on the Next Batch of Potential SVHCs

On 13 March 2019, The European Chemical Agency (ECHA) launched its public consultation of on 3 potential Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC). The deadline for public consultation on the proposal is 29 April 2019.


In addition, The European Commission notified the WTO of its intention to identify 4-tert-butylphenol (PTBP) as a SVHC of REACH on 7 February 2019. If these proposals are accepted the SVHC list will expand to 201.
