European Union, USA, Canada and Australia recall 2 batches of jewellery in October 2018. Notifications of products mainly involve earrings containing excess cadmium and bracelet posing a risk of cut injuries.

Suggestion:

Exposure to cadmium is harmful to human health, because it accumulates in the body and can damage organs and it may cause cancer. EU REACH Annex XVII request cadmium in the metal parts of jewellery less than 0.01%. Article with sharp edges might cause cuts to the skin when it is used.
