SASO released its latest announcement on July 5, 2018, updating the specific product list.

Besides mobile phones, mobile chargers and other mobile phone accessories controlled by force on February 15, 2018, some other products have been added to the list since August 1, 2018. They are as follows:

※ Laptops / Tablets

※ Smartwatches

※ Mobile Phones Batteries

※ TVs

※ Water Pumps,

※ Dishwasher

For the above-mentioned products, CB report and Certificate shall be submitted when applying for ICEE Recognition Certificate, and then the Certificate of Conformity (CoC) for Saudi customs clearance can be applied.

Note：

From the date of implementation on, products under control without SASO IECEE Recognition Certificate shall not be permitted to pass by Saudi customs.

The execution date of luminaires shall be postponed to December 2018. The official announcement about the specific execution date will be issued in November of this year.
