In July 2018, there were 7 recalls of footwear products in European Union, USA, Canada and Australia,  5 of them came from China. 4 of the recalls because of chemicals that may trigger allergic reactions or carcinogenic, and 2 of them due to small parts on Children's shoes can easily be detached, posing a choking hazard to small children. Besides, 1 of the recalls came from a boots can release from the binding unexpectedly, posing a fall hazard to the user.
