On 17 May 2018, the Official Journal of the European Union published Directive (EU) 2018/725 to amend the migration limit for chromium VI in scraped-off toy materials in EU toy safety directive (2009/48/EC). This Directive shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union, member States shall apply those provisions from 18 November 2019.
