On 25 April 2018, the Official Journal of the European Union published Directive (EU) 2018/636 adding dicyclohexyl phthalate (DCHP) to the REACH SVHC list because of its toxic for reproduction and endocrine disrupting properties - human health. ECHA will update the SVHC list according to the European commission's decision. By then, the SVHC candidate list will be added to 183 substances.
