DLC V4.3 notification of major changes in the application process.

On March 20, 2018, DLC mail to inform all partners, emphasis on new technology specification V4.3 will take effect on March 26, 2018 formally implemented. At the same time, the following application process also produces major change, the purpose is to ensure that the application process is more reasonable

Update three application procedures for change.

The latest DLCV4.3 application form will be released and the new version of V4.3 must be used as of March 26, 2018. 

A new version of the agreement must be used on March 26 to update the self-certification process. 
Since March 26, 2018, the applicant will no longer require the self-declaration agreement to be signed. This agreement will be signed online.

The conformance agreement of market supervision

The conformance agreement of safety certificate

If the use of the DLC logo or trademark is violated, it may cause the suspension and cancellation of the new product to be submitted to the product listing. Suspension of application is up to 18 months, and repeated violations of DLC regulations will result in fines and a permanent ban on the application of DLC for severe punishment.

If it violates the regulation of the market, it will cause all series of products or Private labels to stop listing, repeated occurrences may result in the suspension of new product applications and the cancellation of the names of certified products. The suspend application period is up to 12 months.

Updated the SSL product Safety certification requirements. 

All products submitted to DLC must be certified by NRTL or Canada SCC accreditation body approved by OSHA. What’s the specific standard of DLC products do is depend on the corresponding safety certification authority. All submitted products have to get the certificate mark firstly, multiple column names have to provide a security certificate, and also have to be provided for the comparison table of the original model. Market supervision will also reconfirm the security certification status. If the model is not covered by the safety regulations, even if the name is listed, it still will be removed from the QPL.

The DLC must confirm the following points at the time of application.

1- Using the safety approval mark correctly.

2- Using the safety certificate correctly.

3- Using the safety test report correctly.

4- Successful online security certification.

If listed series products are not covered by the original safety certificate because of the product update, provide the original model and the comparison table of multiple models, the manufacturer must provide the revised document to the DLC for corresponding upgrades, otherwise, it maybe lead to the serial product model been cancelled.

If the applicant's safety regulations do not meet the requirements, which maybe lead to rejection of product application submission or the listed product will be removed from the QPL.
