Suggestion
Among the recall cases of textile and clothing products, the main problems are about excessive contents of hexavalent chromium (Cr (VI)), the choking hazard of small part and the cords and the bad flammability resistance. Cr (VI) is restricted in REACH Appendix XVII, and the limit of Cr (VI) in leather products that used close to the skin is 3 mg/kg. The control of textile flammability in Canada is according to the SOR/2016-194. We advised manufacturer to take measures in advance at every stage to meet the requirement of regulation and customers, such as raw material without hazardous substance. In order to ensure all products transported to the other countries are safe, the products should be submitted to the authorized and professional third part laboratories to verify global safety requirements before transported to other countries.
