A Big Change in Korean Naming Rules of KC Approval

As we know before, the KCC controls all EMC tests and no longer controls the safety test. The wired communications products were executed on February 02, 2012, and the RF and ITE products were

implemented in January 2013. And all of the KCC naming rules are as follows:

The implementation plan of the KC logo is as follows:

（1）December 2008: amend the basic law of the state and its enforcement order;

（2）July 2009: the ministry of knowledge economy began to implement and adopt the national unified KC logo;

（3）January 2009 ~ December 2010: revised laws relating to standard certification;

（4）January 2011: apply the KC logo to all certifications.

And now, the KC approval naming rules are changed into “R-CRM-ABC-XXXXXXXXXXXXXX” instead of the old one “MSIP-CRM-ABC-XXXXXXXXXXXXXX”. But the conformity assessment indication can be used in combination with the conformity assessment indication according to the previous provisions at the time of the notice issuance by June 30, 2018. And there is more: ① Equipment that has been accredited pursuant to the provisions of the preceding paragraph at the time of the enforcement of this notice shall be subject to the provisions of the preceding paragraph.② It was already received at the time of the enforcement of this notice and in accordance with the previous provisions, for applications for certification during processing

2. Identification of symbol labeling methods.
