Recall cases of toys in July

In July 2017, there are total 52 recall cases on toys in the major global markets. Thereinto, 35 recalls were published at the European Commission Rapid Alert System (RAPEX), which always release the most notifications on recalled toys. Also, there included 9 recalls in Canada, 5 recalls in Australia and 3 recalls in America separately.

The potential danger of these recalled toys mainly came from the restricted chemicals that causing possible damage to the reproductive system and small parts which may lead to choking. Besides, the risk of burning always presented on children’s costumes and strangulation hazard always presented on strings or elastics. The map as below:
