During 9 Dec 2015 to 14 Jan 2016, the international well-known footwear brand CROCS together with BACL held a seminar on “RSL Seminar 2015”in Dongguan, China and Vietnam. BACL enabled the footwear manufacturers and material suppliers a better understanding to the latest regulations and standards on the seminar, also facilitated CROCS building a more rigorous control system on restricted substances from suppliers and manufacturers. BACL as the only designated third party testing and certification organization, backed with senior expert team throughout the seminar.

There are over 200 manufactures and suppliers attended the seminar. Firstly, the keynote speaker Mr. Jason from CROCS explained the update of 2015 CROCS restricted substances, supplier classification standards and BOS etc in detail. Then, the senior chemistry expert Mr. Leo Gao from BACL deeply interpreted the update standards for footwear and textiles in European and American market. The updates including: the restricted substances for footwear, the explanation and control of hazard substances, and how to deal with exceeding of regulated substances etc. Through the sharing, the attendees had a better and clearer understanding for the 2015 CROCS RSL restricted substances, and gained rich experience. It was deeply appreciated by the manufacturers and suppliers.
