GCC Standards organization determines the Electrical equipment and appliances subjected to the Conformity Assessment Procedure set out in Annex (4) of GSO Technical Regulation for Low Voltage Electrical Equipment and Appliances . - As per the LV TR BD-142004-01 and decision by the Technical Council, the Presumption of Conformity is granted to GSO Standards, thus to the latest publication of the IEC Standards.

The Standards have been taken effect since July 1, 2016. The product in the following mandatory list must have GCC certificate and be labeled by G-mark before they export to GCC members(United Arab Emirates, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Yemen)
