China publishes question and answer document on RoHS2

China RoHS 2 was published on January 1, 2016, and will goes into effect on July 1, 2016, and on May 16, 2016, The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has published a frequently asked questions (FAQ) document on China RoHS 2, the Administrative Measures for the restriction of the use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic (EE) products.

There are five parts in this document, and currently only available in Chinese, as below:

Part 1: Comprehensive problem

Industry standard:

SJ/T 11364-2014 Marking for the Restriction of the use of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic product

GB/T 26572-2011 Requirements on concentration limits for certain restricted substances in electrical and electronic products

  Regulated substances test method 

GB/T 26125-2011,Electrical and electronic products—Determination of six regulated substances (lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, poly brominated biphenyls, poly brominated diphenyl ethers (IDT IEC 62321:2008);

GB/T 29783-2013 Determination of chromium(Ⅵ) in electrical and electronic products - Atomic fluorescence spectrometry.

BACL Note: China RoHS 2 will goes into effect on July 1, 2016, Enterprises should develop a plan to deal with, strengthen the control of harmful substances, and ensure product compliance.
