Main amended contents

--Adding new KC safety standard for electrical appliances: commercial refrigerating appliances, commercial electric hoods, pellet stove and automatic gates, doors and windows are applied their own KC standard harmonized with IEC standard.

▷ Notice of Amendment and withdrawal of the Electrical appliances safety standards

--Amending object and main amended contents: In order to delete performance testing item which is not related with product safety regarding LED luminaries.

--In order to delete a partial performance testing item such as luminous flux maintenance factor in safety standard of LED luminaries, standard K10023, K10025 and K20001 shall be amended;

--Standard K62384 which is a kind of performance standard in safety standard of converter for LED lamp, shall be deleted. 

▷ Main amended Contents 

*Converter for luminaires ( for LED lamp) will be only applied the safety standard KC 61347-1 and KC 61347-2-13 due to deleted of KC 62384.

--Main amended contents and its purpose : In order to relieve manufacturer's burden and meet the consumer's right to know, safety marking requirements are revised according to product's size and following each safety standard. 

▷ Main amended contents

--According to small product’s size, marking requirements can be applied flexibly considering important level of marking requirements.

*Marking rating, insulation grade(class Ⅱ), warning will be applied based on each appliances’ KC standard since each standard has its own marking requirements.
