On 14 April 2025, the European Commission approved a delegated regulation to amend Annex I to Persistent organic Pollutants Regulation (EU) 2019/1021 as regards the entry of perfluorooctane sulfonic acid (PFOS), its salts and PFOS-related compounds. The delegated regulation will be published on the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU). The new limits shall apply from 3 December 2025.
