The Instituto Federal de Telecomunicaciones (IFETEL) of Mexico has published the Annual Calendar of ordinary Sessions and Work for 2025-2026.

Pursuant to Articles 28, paragraphs sixteen and seventeen of the Political Constitution of the United Mexican States; 6, Section IV of the Federal Telecommunications and Broadcasting Law; 28, 29 and 30 of the Federal Law of Administrative Procedure; 114, 115 and 116 of the Federal Economic Competition Law ; 3 and 12 of the organic Statute of the Federal Telecommunications Institute (Organic Statute), and 69 of the Provisions establishing the Professional Service System of the Federal Telecommunications Institute, the following is issued:
Agreement
First.- The Plenary of the Federal Telecommunications Institute will hold ordinary sessions during the year 2025, at least on the following days:
The foregoing, without prejudice to other ordinary or extraordinary sessions that are called in terms of the provisions of the organic Statute.
Second.- Administrative actions and proceedings shall be carried out on business days and hours. For this purpose, all days of the year are considered business days, with the exception of Saturdays, Sundays and those days on which work at the Institute is suspended.
Business hours are between 9:00 and 18:30 from Monday to Thursday, and between 9:00 and 15:00 on Fridays , provided they are business days.
Documents will be received at the Institute's Official Records Office only during business days and hours, at the address located at Insurgentes Sur, number 1143, Nochebuena neighborhood, Benito Juárez territorial district, CP 03720, Mexico City. On the due date, applications will be accepted by electronic transmission after the Official Records Office's business hours have ended , in accordance with the mechanism published on the Institute's website.
Third.- Work at the Institute will be suspended on the following days in 2025 and early 2026:
Fourth.- The Plenary, the Heads of the Unit, the Head of the Investigative Authority, as well as the General Directors, may enable non-working days and hours in accordance with the provisions of the Federal Law of Administrative Procedure, the Federal Law of Economic Competition and the organic Statute, as appropriate, when the matter so requires.
Fifth.- For actions and proceedings relating to the budget for fiscal year 2025, the following shall be considered as working days: from 19, 20, 23 to 27, 30 and 31 December in 2024; from 1 to 3 January, from 22 to 26 and from 29 to 31 December in 2025; and from 1 and 2, 5 and 6 January in 2026.
Transients
First.- Publish this Agreement in the Official Gazette of the Federation, in accordance with the provisions of articles 6, section IV and 46 of the Federal Telecommunications and Broadcasting Law and 28, second paragraph of the Federal Law of Administrative Procedure.
Second.- This Agreement will enter into force on the day following its publication in the Official Gazette of the Federation.
