The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) of Thailand announced on November 14, 2024, that the Technical Standard for Telecommunications Equipment and Radio Communications Equipment using the 5.925-6.425 GHz frequency band has been updated. Previously, only FCC 15.407 was accepted in the 5.925-6.425 GHz  band. Now customers may use the EN 303 687 test report for type approval applications in this band.

The new Technical standard comes into effect on November 15, 2024.
