The framework discusses several issues that have been or will be implemented such as:

1.     Application fees enforced

2.     Modular approvals allowed

3.     Certificate Validity period of 5 years

4.     Certificate revision process clarified

5.     Rx only products do not require approval

6.     Wired devices do not require approval
