Recently, ASTM International has published the revised ASTM F963 standard (ASTM F963-23). According to the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA), the updated standard will be enforced and become mandatory 180 days after the ASTM has notified the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), unless the revision is rejected by CPSC within 90 days.
