Public Consultation on the Preliminary Draft Agreement through which the IFT modifies the Fundamental Technical Plans for Numbering and Signaling, as well as the Number Portability Rules!

The main objectives of the Preliminary Project consist of:

 

1) modifying the electronic formats established in the Fundamental Technical Plans for Numbering and Signaling, with the purpose of adapting them to the technological requirements applicable to the tool called “More Procedures and Services” that is part of the Electronic Window of the Institute;

 

2) simplify the procedures for transferring rights to numbering and signaling resources established in the Plans and ensure their correct implementation through the aforementioned tool “More Procedures and Services” ;

 

3) Defer, the entry into force of the administration and assignment of national numbering by zone and, consequently, of all applicable legal provisions that are related to procedures for the assignment and administration of numerical and signaling resources.


The public consultation will be open from September 14, 2023 to October 11, 2023.
