On September 7, 2023, The Consumer Product Safety Office (CPSO) of Singapore has issued new circular number CPSO-070923-11 for AC adaptors that can deliver more than 100W of power to connected equipment.

Below are the main points:

- AC adaptors are classified as Controlled Goods, and are required to comply with the safety standard IEC 62368-1. 

- AC adaptors with output power more than 100 W and have been registered prior to September 7, 2023, will need to comply with the requirements listed in the circular during the renewal process.
