On September 5, 2023, Vietnam's Ministry of Information and Communication released new Circular 10/2023/TT-BTTTT which updates the technical regulations inCircular 4/2023/TT-BTTTT.

Key highlights from Circular 10/2023/TT-BTTTT are as below：

- A grace period for testing in extreme conditions for various product categories, including QCVN 117:2020/BTTTT, QCVN 54:2020/BTTTT, QCVN 65:2021/BTTTT, QCVN 55:2020/BTTTT, QCVN 122:2022/BTTTT, etc. until December 31, 2023.

- The validity of QCVN 127:2021/BTTTT, QCVN 129:2021/BTTTT for 5G NR terminal devices has been extended until December 31, 2023.

- A grace period for testing in extreme conditions for products like NFC/RFID 13.56 MHz , wireless charger and vehicle radar 76-77 GHz until June 30, 2024.

- Type Approval certificates issued based on only Circular 04/2023/TT-BTTTT (which include extreme condition testing) will be valid for 3 years.

- Type Approval certificates issued based on Circular 04/2023/TT-BTTTT and Circular 10/2023/TT-BTTTT (with normal condition testing) will remain valid until December 31, 2023.
