VN/ViệtnamInternational Safe Transit Association was published a new test project –ISTA 3L Generalized E-commerce Retailer Fulfillment Test recently; this project is a general simulation test for individual packaged-products intended to ship into a retailer fulfillment location through the retailer and carrier distribution systems to the final customers destination. This test is for packaged-products fulfilled and shipped by e-commerce retailers to final customer destinations via Parcel or Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) outbound shipment methods. It challenges the capability of both package and product to withstand transport hazards normally encountered during handing and transportation. This Test is appropriate for nine(9) different types of packaged-products designated types small through H below.

Comparison the ISTA-Amazon.com SIOC test procedure and ISTA 3L project, the ISTA 3L test project was summarized the ISTA 6 Amazon.com SIOC test procedures and publish it as a new standard-ISTA 3L. The ISTA 3L only divide the packaged Type A of ISTA 6 Amazon.com SIOC as small & Type A in ISTA 3L packaged type.
Note: After a minimum one-year period and required evaluation, a“Project” will either be adopted as an established “Procedure”,revised and kept as a “Project” for another period of time, or be dropped.
