The European Commission has approved Commission Regulation (EU) 2023/1627 to amend Commission Regulation (EU) No 10/2011 on the plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with food. It shall be effective on 31 August 2023.

A new entry 1079 of bis(2-ethylhexyl) cyclohexane-1,4-dicarboxylate (DEHCH) is added in the Union List (Annex I) of the Commission Regulation (EU) No 10/2011.
