On June 12, 2023, India BIS updated previous parallel test guideline for mobile phone with changes as below:

1. BIS decided to extend the execution time of parallel test of mobile phone products by 6 months to December 31, 2023.

2. BIS also added two more product categories under the pilot scheme namely wireless earphones and laptops/tablets/notebook.
