On 28 April 2023, the European Commission has approved and published Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2023/866 to amend Annex I to POPs Regulation (EU) 2019/1021 as regards the entry of perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA), its salts and PFOA-related compounds. This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States from 18 August 2023.
