On March 3, 2023, Thailand’s National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) issued the Technical Standard NBTCTS 1031-2565 regulating fixed service in the 57-66 GHz frequency band.

The main points are as below：

1. The minimum technical requirements are for outdoor applications only

2. Effective Isotropic Radiated Power (EIRP) must not exceed 500 mW (27 dBm)

3. Test methods shall be in line with the standard ETSI EN 302 217-3, ANSI C63.10, ETSI EN 303 722, or equivalent

4. Safety requirements must be in accordance with IEC 60950-1, TIS. 1561 – 2556, IEC 62368–1, or TIS 62368 Volume 1-2563.

This new technical standard is effective immediately.
