Publisher:Admin  Source:  Date:2023/2/17

The Consumer Product Safety Office (CPSO) of Singapore published a circular on February 10, 2023, to clarify the types of products classified as multi-way adaptors under the Consumer Protection (Safety Requirements) Regulations.

Below are the main points:

1. Multi-way adaptors used for household, have more than one set of socket contacts and which may or may not be of the same type as the plug pin portion will require Safety Mark.

2. Conventional multi-way adaptors like picture below will need to be tested and certified to SS145-3, registered and affixed with the Safety Mark before being sold in Singapore.
