CLC/TC 108X Working Group of CENELEC European Standards Commissioner on ITAV products:

Handles technical work on the use of IEC/TC 108 in CENELEC and coordinates work with other technical bodies at the European level, such as ETSI. Develop your own standards when special needs arise.

IEC/TC 108 is used in the following areas:

• Standardization in the areas of audio/video and similar technologies, information technology and communications technology equipment security.

• Ensure that any deviations from IEC standards, such as common modifications, special national conditions and A deviations, are only in response to clear and reasonable European requirements, such as European and national legislative requirements.

• Resolve application issues within the responsibility of CLC/TC 108X, e.g., standards related issues raised by CCA operator meetings.
