The California Energy Commission (CEC) requires that regulated appliances must meet minimum appliance energy efficiency standards 9 and are registered in the Modernized Appliance Efficiency Database System (MAEDbS) 11 with accurate information, including brand name, manufacturer name, and model numbers.
