On May 13, El Instituto Nicaragüense de Telecomunicaciones y Correos (TELCOR) has updated type approval requirement on its website. Previously, TELCOR issued regulation that the devices under 50mW output are exempt from homologation scope. However, TELCOR has corrected the requirement that all products that are connected to telecommunications network and that utilize radio spectrum must be homologated regardless of their output power or commercial use, including the products that operate with output power below 50mW.
