On May 5, 2022, the Government of the Republic of Belarus issued Resolution No. 270 which specified conformity assessment and type approval process.

The main updates are as follows:

The validity of the conformity certificates dan declarations (CoC and DoC) will be extended for a period of 12 months, on condition that the expiry date of a CoC/DoC is between 6 May 2022 – 1 September 2022.

Manufacturers and importers do not have to provide documents on conformity assessment if they import either spare parts or component parts for products and machines manufacturer in the Republic of Belarus.

The decree entered into force on May 6, 2022 and is valid until December 31, 2023.
