On February 14, 2022, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has issued new SRD and IoT Type Approval regulation that clearly defined device and frequency bands for mandatory Type Approval as below:

1. VSDs and VTDs

2. NFC device which operates in 13 MHz band

3. 900 MHz band for RFID and SRD systems

4. UWB devices

5. Wireless chargers
